SCANNING FILM 16mm & 35mm
SteFilm uses the Cintel Scanner from Black Magic to digitize archival materials. The Scanner features a high-intensity diffuse light source and advanced imaging system, so you can have real-time HDR scanning of 35 & 16mm films in Ultra HD resolution.
The Cintel Scanner is ideal for creating digital films that you can use in post-production, unlocking your vast film libraries. The Cintel scans 35 & 16mm negatives or positives in superb Ultra HD quality.
It is worth mentioning that a 35mm film has a high dynamic range and native 4K resolution. Stefilm with its experience in the cinema field guarantees you an impressive result in the new generation of digital cinema.
SCANNING FILM 8mm
For Super or Regular 8 it is very important to properly quality control the material as due to its age it is very likely that it is not in the desired condition for scanning. From Super or Regular 8, which is scanned frame by frame you can get digitized material in HD, 2K and even 4K quality.

DCP MASTERING
The Digital Cinema Package (DCP) is a digital film, with a special data format for image and sound. The DCP aims to create a standard for digital cinema so that it is easier to distribute the film or advertisement worldwide.
STEFILM has been producing DCP since 2010 with software such as Easy DCP Creator. We provide you with a smooth workflow and perfect compliance with DCI standards.
